This memorandum about the visit of Michael Lapsley to the Los Angeles area includes the schedule and a leaflet, "Apartheid Has Not Ended, U.S. Tour of Father Michael Lapsley, October 1991." Organizations are asked to publicize the visit and promote sales of the video, "Apartheid Has Not Ended: the Michael Lapsley Story." The leaflet says that evidence was uncovered recently that the South African government has been secretly funding the Inkatha Freedom Party and other anti-ANC (African National Congress) groups. It also reports on President Bush’s prematurely lifted the sanctions under the Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act of 1986 and quotes Nelson Mandela.
