She is editor of “Silent No Longer: The Church Response to Sexual Violence” and has been working on the AIDS problem with the Agency for Christian Social Awareness, an ecumenical group Pietermaritzburg. Sister Sue is on the Faculty of St. Joseph Theological Institute; she holds a Ph.D. in Theology from Catholic University of America. Cosponsors of the event are Africa Rising, Detroit Chapter NAACP, Fellowship Chapel, Groundwork for a Just World, Hartford Memorial Baptist Church, Pax Christi of Michigan, Peace & National Priorities Center, and St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
