Leaflet advertising events on January 16, 1984 with a delegation of black South Africans and U.S. anti-apartheid activists in Ames, Iowa and on the campus of Iowa State University. The leaflet says a press conference will be held where the delegation will discuss conditions in South Africa, and Ames Divest, a group calling for the end of state and local support to multinational corporations in South Africa, will be introduced. The events are sponsored by: Bethesda Lutheran, New Vision Peace and Justice Center, American Friends Service Committee, Ames Peace Network, Ames Divest, Iowa Inter-Church Commission for Governmental Concerns, Collegiate United Methodist Church, and the Iowa Divestment Coalition.
