This remembrance of Patricia Beeman's 15 years of work as part of the Southern Africa Liberation Committee was delivered on the occasion of the deposit of Pat and Frank Beeman’s collection to the Michigan State University Library Special Collections. It recalls her unwavering commitment to the abolition of apartheid and tenacity in depicting the horrors of apartheid to the community whenever possible. The statement ends with a poem about Pat and Frank Beeman's activism set to the tune of "Frankie and Johnnie."
