This issue analyzes the Cabora Bassa dam, which has become a symbol of Portuguese determination to hold onto its colonial empire. The Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) has called the Cobora Bassa project "a criminal colonial project intended to strengthen the power and rule of the imperialist and most reactionary forces in Africa."
