Mailing advertising a Stop Banking on Apartheid general meeting on February 27, 1978 at which there will be a showing of the revised “Banking on South Africa” slide and tape show and a presentation by Bill Sutherland, a Black American living in Tanzania. The meeting will address formalizing the Campaign structure and strategy. The document reports on recent activities by participants in the Campaign, including revising the slide/tape show, writing a basic leaflet, compiling an information packet, doing radio shows, writing articles, conducting workshops, setting up associated groups, gaining commitments to withdraw accounts, holding a press conference, and attending a North American meeting of the bank campaign. The document ends with a poem from FRELIMO, the liberation movement in Mozambique, “Brother from the West.”
