Report on a trip to Mexico by Jim Bouton and Steve Mokone. In the report, Bouton, a professional baseball player from New Jersey, says that, on October 12, 1968, he and South African football (soccer) hero Steve Mokone began a week of lobbying at the Mexico City Olympics. The report says they were spokesmen there for the American Committee on Africa. The other half of their team was Dennis Brutus, a former South African cricket player and President of SAN-ROC (South African Non-Racial Open Committee for Olympic Sports), and Chris DeBroglio, a South African weightlifter who is also a member of SAN-ROC. The report says their long-range goal is elimination of racism in South African sport.
