This mailing explains the formation of the Boston Coalition for the Liberation of Southern Africa by the Southern Africa Solidarity Committee, representatives of the African National Congress, and other groups and individuals. A PROPOSAL FOR A PROGRAM IN SUPPORT OF SOUTHERN ( AFRICAN LIBERATION IN THE BOSTON AREA that sets out the political perspective, goals, and slogans of the new coalition is enclosed. The goals include opposition to any U.S. support of apartheid, support for the liberation movements, and linking the struggle in South Africa to struggles against race and class oppression in the United States.
