The mailing says, as anti-imperialists in the United States, members of Southern Africa Solidarity Committee (S.A.S.C.) want to build the Southern Africa solidarity movement to end all U.S. involvement in Southern Africa. S.A.S.C. has focused on the Zimbabwe Action Campaign (Z.A.C.), formed by a number of solidarity organizations at a recent conference. Through joint work in several cities (Seattle, Eugene, Fresno, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and Boston) Z.A.C. hopes to have greater impact on U.S. policy and on educating people about Zimbabwe. The mailing includes THE INITIAL STATEMENT OF THE SEATTLE SOUTHERN AFRICA SOLIDARITY COMMITTEE.
