The brochure about Unity in Action says the organization seeks to uphold the right of people in Africa and elsewhere in the Third World to self-determination, i.e. to choose or create the political and economic alternatives which best meet human needs and fulfill aspirations toward establishing a just social order. The brochure says Unity in Action's initial focus was on coordinating Africa-oriented organizations around an action program, principally on behalf of ANC (South Africa), SWAPO (Namibia), and FLNC (Congo/"Zaire"). More recently, it has concentrated on the struggle in South Africa, organizing anti-apartheid demonstrations and support for the ANC. • Our Goals • Our History • Organizational Structure • Principles of Unity • Outreach • What you can do to support our efforts • More Information/Donations [Note: This document was printed on 8 ½ x 11 paper back to back and folded in thirds.]
